I'm already back in Texas. I miss Hawaii :'(
My first meal in Hawaii cost $6.66 so I had to take a picture of it as proof, lol.
I went to several beaches, but I think my favorite was Kailua Beach. I'm probably just biased though, my friends liked it here too.
I would post pictures of me and Zack, but he lost a contact in his right eye that day. :( He was suffering until hours later where he got his new contact ^_^
The view from Kaneohe Bay was thanks to Christopher's dad. He is in the army, so we had a way to get in. :)
We didn't have time to go see Pearl Harbor, but we did see the impact site.
This is where people go snorkeling. The "brown spots" in the water are coral reefs. We didn't have a chance to go snorkeling, I forgot where we were headed to instead. Probably that awesome mall Ala Moana, lol.
I went to the Polynesian Culture Center too; it was one of my favorite places to go but we didn't have time to visit again.
This was in New Zealand or "Aoteora," in the Maori language.
The coconut leaf headband was from Samoa, where Zack got it as a prize for making fire lol.
PALI LOOKOUT
ALOHA TOWER
My favorite meals in Hawaii were ramen, poke, mangoes, papayas, and katsu!!!
(that is not my hand, I can assure you it's not that hairy. LOL jk Zack, I love you!)
These last two pictures show you how "tan" I got, LOL.
We saw an old Japanese man asleep at Ala Moana....
Then he woke up and saw us!!! We ran away, but then we watched him scratch his upper lip with a Starbucks straw... LOL.
DOLE PLANTATION
...a really cool tea library store.. thingy... :)
I got my nails done by a Japanese lady. It was expensive but well worth it; the gel overlay on my nails last up to a month.
BYODO TEMPLE Here is the only picture I got at Byodo Temple of a peacock! I forgot the camera charger :'( I was so devastated.
Woo, okay, I'm tired. More elborate details in about.... 5 minutes. hehe

...is almost over...
I guess it's a little different when you're completely moving out, than just moving things and then coming home (like most college students.) You have a lot to take with you! I can't believe how much random stuff I had (pencils, pens, art supplies, purses, coats, etc.) that I haven't used in years, but couldn't throw it away and had to keep it. I see why people have "moving away sales."
The move took longer than expected too, because we:
1.) Didn't rent a Uhaul (underestimated the amount of stuff we had.) Made about 8 trips back and forth with 3 vehicles.
2.) Lived upstairs, so the move was a sweaty workout.
3.) Boyfriend had TOO MUCH STUFF and it was HEAVY too. (Furniture, electronics, games/dvds, etc.)
Anyway, my mom made sure I had some decent nails for Hawaii tomorrow.
She put a mixture of Hawaii + leopard print, lol.
Here's Bailey, the terror. I can't sleep because of her. She's so bad.
...and a HAPPY BIRTHDAY to the boyfriend. We won't be celebrating his birthday today, since our flight is tomorrow morning. We are physically and mentally worn out with everything that has been going on!
I am a bit nervous about the flight tomorrow. I need to pop a Xanax, haha jk.
Love you all.
Awww!! Sweet LadyTee tagged me. She's a doll, very awesome and helpful too!

What were you doing ten years ago?
Ten years ago I was 9. I was in Houston, Texas playing hide and seek with my friends. When I turned 10, I moved to Killeen, Texas where I first experienced loneliness and felt isolated. I did not like the move!
What are five things on your to-do list today?
1. Sign the lease to move into my new apartment today. Put the new key on with a cool key cap! Haha.
2. Move all my stuff at the old house to the new apartment....with my itty bitty car.
3. Get my package from MAC's 15% Friends and Family sale. ;)
4. Finish my laundry.
5. Maybe run 3 miles, if I feel like working out. << I was too tired and lazy after the hectic move. (We lived upstairs and had a LOT of heavy stuff!!)
Snacks you enjoy? Dark chocolate, ice cream, cheddar Combos! :) Pong.
Places you’ve lived? Malaysia (born), Houston, Killeen, Sherman, Garland.. all in Texas.
What are 5 things you would do if you were a billionaire? (in no particular order)
1. Travel the world with my family and friends.
Australia, UK, Italy, France, Hong Kong, Japan, etc.
2. Pay off tuition for my boyfriend, me, my sister, her boyfriend, my future kids, etc.
3. Invest in the stock market.
4. Buy a house for my mom, buy a house for my dad.
5. Buy boyfriend's mom a new car.
People you want to know more about?
I wore Joppa Minerals' Sweet Tea on my upper lids.
My lips were dry like kho muc (dried squid.) Haha, jk.
The next picture you are about to see...is me with absolutely no makeup on. I had no contacts in either. I was blind like a date.
BUT! I used my new Shu Uemura eyelash curler from Chris. Look how amazing my lashes look without any mascara on. :)
You can also see how natural sunlight makes your skin look and....nasty bedroom fluorescent lighting makes me look stupid, lol.
I think the only thing I had on in this picture was a random swipe of eyeshadow from my Cherry Culture haul.
And lastly, my Everyday Minerals haul. Launch Party blush makes me look dirty, like I rolled in mud. I almost spelled that Mudd with two d's.
DO NOT READ IF YOU WANT TO KEEP YOUR MONEY.
This is very tempting.......
http://www.bagborroworsteal.com
This site lets you "borrow" designer brands like Coach, Gucci, Prada, Fendi, Dior, Juicy Couture, etc... You pay a membership fee of $5.00 a month + whatever you want to borrow.
You can pay weekly (ie - one week or two weeks) or monthly. Monthly is a better deal IF you have money.
You can also add $1.00 per week for insurance. Meaning, if you damage a ring you're wearing, it will be okay.
To me, I can only justify this if you've got some place to dress up for, like a wedding or really special occasion.
Halo is my favorite, EVER. lol
Heres me with the glasses again, if you haven't seen it yet, lol.
And here's my temporary nail color until my mom can spice it up. I wonder what I should do because the strawberry nails and watermelon toes were awesome.
On Father's day, I got one of those 50 cent tattoos. I'm so punk.
It itched really bad so I've already removed it, lol.
What could this be...............?
It's the legendary Shu Uemura eyelash curler!! LENS FLARE to show off the shininess. My friend Chris bought it for me as a surprise. Thank you! :) I really like it so far, pics later. I'm sooo busy right now.
It came with a replacement silicone curler, Smashbox mascara primer, Stila mascara samples. Awesome. :)
Joppa Minerals mini haul also came in.
I can swatch if anyone wants, but I think their colors run LIGHT. I felt like Bronzed Sienna and Goldenrod were a little too light or too pink...
I love their Sweet Tea eyeshadow though.
Here's Hairtopia hair pills. These supplements for healthy hair growing are EXPENSIVE.
I also got charged TAX because they're located in Texas. Damn.
I've only been using it for about 3 weeks, almost a month. I've seen healthier hair, and I feel like it's growing faster. I'll keep taking it for about another month. Two months to decide whether or not a product works on my hair is good enough.
You have to take 1 vitamin + 2 amino acids in the morning....then 1 vitamin + 2 amino acids in the evening....then 2 amino acids before bedtime....
God, I feel like a geriatric patient or something. They're pretty big too!! I'm always afraid I'd choke on them.
Okay, and the last thing I'm going to mention today is what I use to remove the heavy mascara, eyeliner, and eyeshadows around my eyes without looking too much of a raccoon.
You can find liquid Vitamin E at Target, CVS, Walmart, etc. and
It smells like Starbursts, and removes makeup without irritating eyes (turning skin around the eyes red, stinging or watering eyes up.) If I remember correctly this bottle was less than $3 at Target.
Next up, another Everyday Minerals haul with the Launch Party blush.
Prissy is ready to move as well! She wasn't much of a help though.
I saw a pineapple plant and I told it that when I have more money and more time to take care of it, I would buy it. :)
Oh yeah, not trying to be a racist or anything, but I just didn't get these Multi-cultural matryoshka dolls I saw at IKEA!
Another WTF that I saw this past Sunday on Father's Day:
Anyway, SOMEONE thinks they're a badass and wrote with Sharpie on the glass.
lol I had to take a second glance at the sign!
I saw a pink guitar at the grand opening of Saigon Mall in Garland, lol.
Oh yeah, when I was brushing my teeth last night, I did some research on whitening toothpastes.
Whitening Toothpastes:
Contrary to what many people think, whitening toothpastes do not increase the whiteness of the underlying tooth. What they do is remove stains so that the underlying whiteness of the tooth becomes more apparent.
Think of these toothpastes as "carwashes" for your teeth. In the same way that a good car washing removes the dirt and grime on your car making it sparkle, whitening toothpastes remove stains and plaque from your teeth, making your smile shine.
It is important to note that while effective in removing stains, some brands of whitening toothpastes can destroy tooth enamel in the process. Due to their harsh abrasives, these toothpastes, over time, may strip tooth enamel, making teeth appear yellow and causing teeth to become sensitive to cold or hot foods and liquids, sweets, baking soda, and highly salted foods.
We suggest using one of the newer brands of whitening toothpastes which do not contain harsh abrasives but instead use more gentle methods for removing stains from teeth. SuperSmile toothpaste, in particular, is one of the best whitening toothpastes we have come across.
Instead of utilizing harsh abrasives, SuperSmile toothpaste uses the patented ingredient Calprox® (calcium peroxide). Calprox® non-abrasively dissolves the clear, sticky protein film on teeth to which coffee, tea, tobacco, wine and other stains adhere. The result: teeth that appear whiter, feel smoother, and remain cleaner.
So yeah! I want some SuperSmile toothpaste now. :) Aren't you proud of me? :p I add things to my cart because of the MAC sale, BeautyCrunch is so cheap, and every other mineral makeup site has a sale going on, but I just [x] out of the shopping cart... I'll probably have some nightmares, but at least my bank account is going to be a bit happier.
Next entry:
- Random movies I saw
- Shu Uemura eyelash curler (the big one)
- New nail polish
- Silk Naturals swatches
- Hairtopia pills
- Mini Joppa haul
- Vitamin E makeup remover ~
I have neglected everyone here, my apologies! I hope you've had the best time of your life while I was gone from Vox!
I had a very exhausting past two weeks. I went apartment searching while getting things finalized for Hawaii, moving out, and finishing my final projects for school at the same time. It was extremely hectic and my brain almost dried up.
Last week: Projects, finals, apartment searching/papers, packing up things to move.
This week: Moving to my apartment.
Next week: Zack's birthday, and going to Hawaii.
Those are my excuses for being gone! I am going to try to answer all the commenters as soon as I finish writing!
So I got this haul awhile ago, I think about two and a half weeks ago? Before the Everyday Minerals haul. I just forgot to write about it!
I am IN LOVE with the MAC dupes.
Especially Halo, it's my FAVORITE right now for that nice golden sparkle this summer.
Babydoll was a bit too bright for me, good thing it was a sample.
I liked Tempt Tryst as well, but nothing can beat how much I like Halo right now!
I really liked the Kiss Bliss formulas as well. It's so creamy and I leave it in the HOT TEXAS SUN, and in the car for hours while I'm in the office and in class, and it doesn't melt! Why??? LOL
Unless they killed each other because someone stole their favorite lipgloss.... Maybe... Haha just kidding.. Hahah.
Anyway, so I haven't seen Delaney in ages. I was glad to see him before he parted to go back to Akon.
I went to H-Mart with Zack and Chris, I think. I saw some chocolates called Crunky and found it funny:
