Hey guys, sorry, I have been busy so i haven't updated anything in awhile. Here are a few pics of our bedroom.
It looks really good in person with all of the wall and ceiling (fan also) painted, we got base boards in and our wardrobe units built and finished out!! Of course, Memphis called dibbs on where he was gonna sleep!
We put some 7" crown moulding up! I didn't that it was gonna make any difference how big or small the moulding would be, but since Jessica insisted on the largest ones we could get our hands on, I'd have to say that it turned out really nice.
You probably notice that there is some space from the wall to the moulding, its because we left some room for the curtains to go past the wardrobe unit and fall right in front without anyone noticing.
I had to make an executive decision to cut into the moulding some because there wasn't room that was considered when picking the moulding. It didn't turn out too bad!
Our finish product looks really good, hope that you guys enjoyed!!
Harvey, mystery dog, Memphis and harvey laying in bed. They are probably the laziest westies that I've ever seen, but they are soo cute! Thought you guys would like these pics, and of course, some more pictures of the house.
I ended up cutting two gi-NOR-mous holes in the wall and insert these built in wardrobe cabinets for the master bedroom. The whole room is going to get a fresh coat of white paint and trim. I haven't figured if I was going to fix the single pane windows and the sash cords yet.
Heres my breakfast that my beautiful wife bought me! Nothing like a cupcake to get the day going!
So now that the master bathroom is finally done, we decided to go ahead and work on the master bedroom, now that all the tools are out of it and it is semi clean for now. Well, if you have never been to my house, once you walk into the master bedroom, you are facing a door that leads to outside, and directly to the left of that is a "built in" bookshelf.
Well, the bookshelf is not the best of craftsman quality, but it served its purpose. So I started to pull down all of the trim around it and removed all of the slats holding the shelves, and begin to demolish all in my site!!!!! Right behind this was another boxed in object, I thought they framed this box out because they didn't have anywhere to anchor down the bookshelf, so I start pulling this out and I find myself standing infront of the creepy door within my walls.
I couldn't open, because I was tooo scared, but the door only swings one way, so there was really now way of opening it up anyways.! Also, inside of my wall is like maybe 2 ft of space between rooms and there is a shelving inside of my walls with a column made of brick right in the middle of it all!
Also, Memphis likes to hang out in the clean clothes!

Whats up guys, hope everything is doing well for everyone else, we have been very busy finishing up the bathroom. It has been a long process, and a overwhelming DIY project for a couple of rookies! But in the end, we got it finished and everything looks great! Everybody gives us a hard time cause we took so long to finish a bathroom remodel, but you guys have to understand that this wasn't just painting the walls and adding a toilet paper holder, we completely gutted the bathroom, walls to floors to pipes and came in and redid everything, also, we finished the upstairs and made it into three rooms in itself, so that was also time consuming!
Heres our nice chocolate brown tiles!

I didn't know if I was gonna like this faucet, but Jess did pick it out, so it awesome!
Finally, TWO toilets are in the house!
Our small dressing mirror!
Talk about a sink ladies and gent, this is a freaking sink! Its 18" in diameter, our shower heads were suppose to be this big, can you image the water waste!
This is why you don't put a heat gun close to your screen, this is why you don't put a heat gun anywhere next to your screen! Damn, 25 dollars down the drain!
Dane is soo cute, I got to see him last week when I was home for one day and got my haircut from Angel (hairstylist), he was doing that thing where he was shy, but then wanted to play, but didn't want to give too much attention
Food pics are always awesome

Hey guys, this past weekend was a productive and very good/busy one for us. We worked on the bathroom (same one we have always been working on) trying to get it finished up this year. We basically finished and sanded all of the walls, filled in all gaps for drafts, and painted the ceiling and walls!
Here is a good picture of the color of the walls contrasted with the shower walls, we have the same color tile as accents along the bottom, where the subway tiles meet the brown tiles.
We also hooked up the lights that is on both sides of the half wall.
Here is a better picture, looks pretty sweet !
This is the fixture we ended up with to replace the crappy ceiling fan/light. I really thought that the fan would eventually fall down and slice somebody up before I got the chance to take it out! Anybody want to buy a fan?
We also went to the zoo with our friends and their little Eric.

We went to eat and he started throwing a fit, but as soon as they busted out with Dora on the mini laptop, and a game on the Iphone, you could practically feed him anything! It was awesome, cause in his left hand was the phone, but he was soooo concentrated on the cartoon, when they went to feed him, he would just open up his mouth but his eyes never left the screen, I couldn't stop laughing!
What the heck happened here!?!
Well, I was in the office mixing some ink for my next screen, and the nozzle on my red ink was clogged. Actually, it was running slow and then it clogged! Well, instead of clearing the passage way of the nozzle by taking the cap off and cleaning it out, I decided that I would use brute force, and that would clearing everything out. So, I start putting pressure on it and I was prepared for when the nozzle clears, it would splat out some, but what I didn't expect was what I put sooo much pressure down that the entire cap/lid came flying off, knocked over the cup that I was mixing in down and projected ink outwards, like in the movies where a guys gets shot at point blank and bloods flys out!, So, now I really have to pull the carpet up, it looks like someone died here, I might get like a chalk line and do a body around this for Halloween!
So, I have been staying busy with printing, so the office has turned into a massive mess!
these are some shirts that I did for a friend, who I met when I use to do automotive upholstery!
here are my latest from my SEAMINGLY ARTFUL line!!!

So today we are done with the whole shower thing! Finally, but the crappy thing is that we can't take a shower till the grout, sealer, and caulk cure to the appropriate time, which will be for another 48hrs :( Oh well, at least we are done with all of the showerness and can finally take one. I don't think that I have ever taken a shower in the house....wait, maybe when we first got the house, but besides that, almost 2yrs!
Heres a good pic of the one side of the showe
Here is the very controversial "DOUBLE" drain that had to go in, which once again, was a pain! and of course a final layout of what the double shower looks like. We haven't decided what we are going to do with the half walls, whether or not to insert some glass/acrylic panels in or just leave them open. We will wait and see!
Here are some before pictures that if you haven't ever been to the "creepy upstairs" then now you have an idea of what it was before!
Shim, shim, shim! those are my best friends, and by all means, this wall helps support the crappy ceiling sheetrock job that someone did before me! It Sags!
We move quick when we know what we are doing, I believe this was all done 2 or 3 days! not bad for 2 DIY's
What a mess!
Yo guys, Heres a couple of pics from upstairs, all that we have left to do is put baseboards in!
We made the upstairs "three" rooms, but only 2 liveable, cause the other side is our closet!
Bedrooms setup turned out really nice, Go Jess! The walls are like this lemon color just in case you think that the flash made it look like that. And yes thats me tracking paint on the floor in between the tv and futon!
