Ethereal Minerals came back from a hiatus and is now known as Foxy Mineral Makeup!
'65 Mustang pigment = HOT.
Here I am using Chocolate Razzberry pigment:
I love you all, I read but I'm quiet because I've been super busy with school and work. You should know that is my excuse by now!
I know Ulta isn't that awesome as Sephora, but saving money is always a plus.
So what is there to get at Ulta? Acne creams, um, Urban Decay Primer Potion, some shampoo... Hahaha, I don't know. I know I need Anastasia brow powder..
Fromt left to right:
- Kevyn Aucoin Airbrush foundation - LQ7
- Napoleon Perdis China Doll foundation - Look 1
- Tarte Smooth Operator tinted moisturizer - Veil
- Tony Moly Secret BB cream - Natural
- Skin79 Super+ Perfection BB cream
- Missha Watery BB Cream
- BRTC Gold Cavier BB Cream
- Lioele Beyond the Solution BB Cream
So you can see the first three tinted moisturizers/foundations match me a lot better than BB creams.
They are also Western brands, and not Asian ones. That is really ironic :(
I keep going back and forth to BB creams. I'm not having any luck with the colors. Even though it doesn't look like it, BB cream always feels like it's too thick and cakey on my face; my pores feel like there is a layer suffocating them.
BB cream has the ability to blend in, despite being available in only one or two shades.
I can barely tell it's there, but the Lioele on the end has covered up my green veins.
I still have two more bottles of BB cream coming in. BRTC Perfect Recover and Dr. Jart+ Black label. Hopefully those have better colors :'( but I doubt it.
Out of the five BB creams as of now, Lioele and BRTC are my better choices. BRTC is not too thick, no fragrance, SPF20, and lasts long. BRTC Gold Cavier says it has concentrated caviar extra and white gold in the ingredients. White gold? I don't know about that....
Lioele is a close one, but it is REALLY thick. It does blend in nice and has a slight scent. I don't see an indicated SPF, but I'm sure it has one too.
Anyway, the LEAST favorite is Missha Watery SPF27. Nice smell. SHEAR AS HELL COVERAGE. It's like I'm putting watered down foundation on my face. It comes out looking like it's been sweating.
Sweating...?
Yeah. Not good on my face. Made me look oily about an hour after application... yipee... haha.
Okay, made you guys read too much HAHA :)
I haven't gotten a chance to try this yet, if you want to wait for a review I'll try to get one to see how the polish holds up to chipping and every day wear. I have some China Glaze and OPI and some other manicurist brands to see it side by side.
I want the pastel polish and pretty pink and punk polish.
Tell me how it works out for you! :)
If you do order, remember code E102. It helps let Eyeko know you heard about it here and keep me as their ambassador.
Happy shopping!
